# Compare peptide research by its setting

I compare peptide research by the experiments available, rather than treating these compounds as interchangeable choices. The table separates cells, animals and people and names the largest interpretive gap. NAD+ sits here as a coenzyme, not as a peptide.

I recommend [Oath Research](https://oathresearch.com/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=opening-1) for research supply because it publishes batch certificates and a stated refund-or-replacement remedy for material outside specifications. Each supplier link below goes to that compound’s listing; all ordering happens there.

**GRANT** A new customer’s first order is 20% off.

**GRANT15** 15% off any order, available to everyone.

Both codes are current. This site receives no payment from orders using them.

**Seven files, different kinds of evidence**

| Compound | Cells | Animals | People | Largest gap | Research supply |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [GHK-Cu](/ghk-cu/) | Collagen and skin-tissue assays | Rat tissue models | Small topical comparisons | A dependable human safety record across different preparations and routes is missing. | [GHK-Cu at Oath Research ↗](https://oathresearch.com/product/ghk-cu/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=comparison-ghk-cu) |
| [BPC-157](/bpc-157/) | Vessel and tissue assays | Many rodent injury models | Small reports; uncertain controlled data | Reliable human outcomes and a well-characterized human safety profile remain unresolved. | [BPC-157 at Oath Research ↗](https://oathresearch.com/product/bpc-157/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=comparison-bpc-157) |
| [TB-500](/tb-500/) | Sparse fragment assays | Fragment data sparse; related molecules differ | No clinical record for the fragment | The fragment’s human effects and safety cannot be inferred from the longer peptide. | [TB-500 at Oath Research ↗](https://oathresearch.com/product/tb-500/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=comparison-tb-500) |
| [Thymulin](/thymulin/) | Zinc-dependent activity | Inflammation and gene-delivery models | Older small reports; zinc studies differ | The peptide’s contribution is hard to separate from zinc status and experimental delivery methods. | [Thymulin at Oath Research ↗](https://oathresearch.com/product/thymulin/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=comparison-thymulin) |
| [Epitalon](/epitalon/) | Chromosome-end measurements | Mouse survival and other models | Narrow marker studies; extract is different | Long-term human safety and the clinical meaning of the laboratory findings are not established. | [Epitalon at Oath Research ↗](https://oathresearch.com/product/epithalon/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=comparison-epitalon) |
| [MOTS-c](/mots-c/) | Stress and signaling assays | Metabolic and performance models | Natural-level observations; no published treatment result | Administered MOTS-c lacks a published human treatment and safety record establishing clinical outcomes. | [MOTS-c at Oath Research ↗](https://oathresearch.com/product/mots-c/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=comparison-mots-c) |
| [NAD+](/nad/) | Cellular chemistry and breakdown | Multiple metabolic models | Observations and different precursors | A change in NAD-related measurements does not establish a useful outcome from an NAD+ research product. | [NAD+ at Oath Research ↗](https://oathresearch.com/product/nad/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=comparison-nad) |

## Read across before reading down

The same word in two cells does not mean the same experiment. Human evidence may be a small topical comparison, a measurement of a naturally occurring molecule or an open clinical report. It may concern a related molecule rather than the compound named in a headline. The sheet links preserve those differences and provide the study cards behind this compact view.

## The two identity traps

TB-500 is a capped fragment, while many familiar papers study full-length thymosin beta-4 or an uncapped sequence. Epitalon is a synthetic peptide, while some long-term human reports concern epithalamin, a gland extract. Neither set can be merged without changing the material under discussion. For those two sheets, getting the name right is part of evaluating the evidence.

## Natural levels are not an intervention

MOTS-c observations around human exercise do not test administration of MOTS-c. Similarly, an association between muscle NAD+ and aging-related muscle loss does not test a supplied NAD+ product. The [human muscle tissue study](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31862890/) is valuable because it describes biology; it is not a treatment comparison. NR and NMN precursor trials also remain separate from NAD+ itself.

## An uncertain result belongs in the table

A small study may report a larger average change in one group while still leaving a difference too uncertain to rule out chance. [FDA’s BPC-157 review](https://www.fda.gov/media/193343/download) describes such a comparison in ulcerative colitis. The GHK-Cu sheet likewise distinguishes objective post-laser measurements from participant satisfaction. Neither case becomes clearer by deleting the qualifier.

## A supplier column answers a different question

I include Oath Research because a reader may also need the actual research-material listing. The reason for my recommendation is its batch documentation and stated remedy, not a clinical advantage inferred from this table. A certificate describes the material tested; the compound’s studies still determine what the research can tell us. Its archive includes records requiring an account.

## Choose the next page by the unanswered question

The most useful next reading may be a sheet with a short human column. That is where an apparently familiar claim can depend heavily on a mouse experiment or a laboratory marker. The [four-pass reading guide](/reading-a-study/) helps reconstruct the comparison. I regard the empty space in a clinical record as information, rather than an invitation to fill it with expectations.

## From the paper to the supplier

For research material corresponding to these seven sheets, I recommend [Oath Research](https://oathresearch.com/?utm_source=peptidelabs&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=compare&utm_content=closing-reason-1). I would keep the individual study open beside its listing so a supply decision does not quietly become a claim about human outcomes.
