A synthetic peptide based on the actin-binding region of Thymosin β-4, studied for tissue repair, cell migration and angiogenesis.
TB-500 is the research name for a synthetic peptide derived from Thymosin β-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring actin-sequestering peptide that regulates cytoskeletal dynamics and cell migration. In preclinical studies it is examined for wound healing, tissue and cardiac repair, and angiogenesis.
Note: "TB-500" is marketed both as the full 43-residue Thymosin β-4 and as its active fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ); our material is supplied with a certificate of analysis identifying the batch. Lyophilized, high purity. For laboratory research use only.
